These are photos I took using light painting. I had to write my name backwards and in reverse to create my name out of light. I had a very slow shutter speed on my camera to create the effects of these photos. I used flashlights and lightsabers to create these effects. The photos have a somewhat celestial look to it and when people look at it they may think of space and constellations.
I went into my backyard took several pictures displaying line and shape. I used several different angles to create a more linear perspective to my photos. My photos were mainly taken very close to the object I was photographing. I set my camera to grid mode in taking the majority of my photos to follow the rule of thirds. I believe that the photo of the side of my air conditioner is my dynamic composition.
I took these pictures to illustrate depth of field. I used the "F-stops " to adjust the aperture of the pictures and create shallow and deep depths of field. I used high f-stops to create more blurry pictures with focussed backgrounds. I used low numbered f-stops to create focussed foregrounds and blurry backgrounds.
