Karate
This photo exhibits the use of shutter speeds. To create the effect of me kicking in mid-air, I used a very high shutter speed to catch everything frame by frame. I think the lighting and shadows in this picture are great and I think the picture overall is rather funny.
Light Painting
I used the opposite effect of my first picture. Instead of using a high shutter speed, I used a lower one while using flashlights and other luminating tools to create a futuristic, celestial design. I like how all the different colors mesh with each other and how the different patterns cross without making it look too "busy"
Apperture
In this photo, I used a very high aperture on the front of the air conditioner as the front is in focus and the back is blurred out. I used a very high amount of "F-stops" to make this picture look more attractive and offered more depth to the picture.
Depth of Field
I also used apperture in this picture as I created a foreground (thermometer), middle ground (table, waterer and background (greenhouse wall) to create a sense of depth to the picture. The thermometer appears to be bigger than the watering can in this picture as well
Sunset- Landscape
I was driving along the Dighton countryside during a very appealing sunset when I took this picture. The lighting of this picture is superb and the clouds mesh together almost perfectly
Beach- Seascape
I was walking on a beach in Clearwater, Florida when I took this photo. I believe the photo follow s the rule of thirds very well and is very symetrical.
